Ingredients:
Semia - 3 cups,
onion - 1,
green chillies - 5,
carrots - 1,
beans - 10,
legumes - a spoon,
peanuts - a spoon,
mustard - half a spoon,
salt - a spoon,
ghee - a spoon,
Oil - 3 tbsp,
curry leaves - a bunch,
turmeric powder - a quarter spoon.
Recipe: First put the stove on fire and put a pan on it. Then add a spoonful of ghee to the pan. Then add 3 cups of sesame seeds and mix well.
Then fry this samiya in ghee. Then put the stove on medium heat. Transfer the fried semolina to a plate. Then chop the onion lengthwise.
Then chop the carrots and beans very finely. Grate the green chillies in half. Then put the pan back in the oven and pour in 3 tbsp oil.
When the oil dries, add mustard and season. Then add a spoonful of lentils and a spoonful of peanuts and fry. Then add chopped onion and fry.
Once the onion turns golden brown, add the powdered chopped carrot beans and green chillies and fry. Then add salt and curry leaves and stir.
Then add 3 cups of water in a suitable amount to the semia. That means add 3 cups of water to 3 cups of sesame. If the amount of water is too high the semia will not become spare.
So one cup of semia should be kept at the rate of one cup of water. When the water boils well, add the roasted sesame seeds, stir and cover for 5 minutes. Delicious samiya uppuma will be ready.
